Mr. Rushing was born February 6, 1958 in Tylertown, Mississippi to Willie Ford Rushing and Ora Mae Lane Rushing. He was a retired Salesman for the Omaha Steak Company and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, one sister, Barbara Rankin.
Family members include four children, Stephanie (Joseph) Mayes, Lashanee (Blake) Bullock, James Ronald Rushing, Savannah Rushing; two brothers, Roger Rushing, Glenn Rushing; two sisters, Janet Cook, Joan Rushing; six grandchildren; one great grandson; and close friend Victoria Henderson.
Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 12:00 pm. Rev. Shane Moore will officiate the service. Private burial will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 10:30 am until the times of services, Monday at the funeral home.
