Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. January 3, 2012 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Picayune for Mr. Martin Mason Stewart, 96, of Poplarville, Mississippi who died Sunday January 1, 2011 in the Pearl River County Nursing Home. Randy Henson will officiate at the service.
He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Faith and a retired carpenter.
Survivors include three nephews, Benny Tynes, Denny Tynes, and Kerry Tynes, all of Poplarville, MS; three nieces, Brenda Burge, Kathy Bishop, both of Poplarville, MS, and Carol Wheat of Brandon, MS; and a brother-in-law, Otho Tynes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Shadrick and Isabella Miller Stewart; two sisters, Julia Tynes and Gracie Smith; and one brother, Floyd Stewart.
