Mary Ann Hodge Barron

She was a very Christian woman loved by many. Mary was a member of College Heights Baptist Church. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and was a blessing to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Roland Byrd and Mae C Byrd; two husbands, Edward "Ed" Hodge and Glenn Barron; three brothers, Alredge, Elmer and George Byrd and one grandson, David Hall.

Mary leaves to forever cherish her memory to her four children, Stanley Hodge, Sharon Beall (Jesse), Brenda Snowden and Tammy Bullen (John Terrell), the late Steven Hodge (Lajuana); 13 grandchildren, Tasha, Julie, Christopher, Tiffany, Eric, Felicia, Shannon, Nikki, Ashley, Tyler, Abrill, Dwayne and Beth; 12 great grandchildren, Christopher Jr. "CJ", expecting baby Beaux, Laken, Tristin, Gabrielle, Gatlin, Annabeall, David III, Ava, Ayden, Kaleb and Christian; two great-great grandchildren, Judson and Briar.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mary Ann's funeral services on Thursday, July 20, 2023 for 11:00 am at College Heights Baptist Church, 217 US-11, Poplarville, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Fellowship and dinner will follow the burial at College Heights Baptist Church.
