Maudie Ruth Hale

Ms. Hale was born November 30, 1929 in Oloh, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and faithful member of Little Black Creek Baptist Church.

Maudie will be best remembered for creating a warm and loving home. Whether it was decorating for the seasons or her famous yeast rolls - family members and guests alike were greeted with warm hospitality.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Emma Owen; one daughter, Wanda Ruth Hale; one grandson, Ryan Daniels; and a host of brothers and sisters.

Family members include her children, Lucy Hale Clardy, Duane (Lin) Hale, Owen (Becky) Hale, Lina Jones, Dinah (Ken) Smith, Maria (Gene) Smith; fourteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Little Black Creek Baptist Church (1276 Little Black Creek Road, Lumberton, MS, 39455) on Friday, July 29th, 2022 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service, Friday at the church.
