Michael Willis Davis

Michael was born January 15, 1952.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Willis Davis and Edna Jewel (Jones) Davis; and one son, Whitney Lee Davis.

Family members include three sons: Christopher Michael (Misty) Davis, Luther Gene Sones, II, Douglas Levi Sones; his siblings, Rita Davis (Erik) Barthol, Carolyn Davis (Cliff) Anderson; his former wife, Susie Davis Smith; grandsons, Trevor, Ashton, Tanner, Coleman, Cameron, Brennan, Stefan; one granddaughter, Savannah; and great grand children, Caleb, Marlaina and Gracelynne.

Funeral services will be held at College Heights Baptist Church, (217 Highway 11 North, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Steve Finey will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery on Oscar Lee Road. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until services, Tuesday at the church.
