Mr. Robert "Slim" Lee Sr., 88 of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Forrest General Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born on March 20, 1937 in Poplarville, Mississippi.
Slim was a retired truck driver and a lifelong resident of Poplarville, Mississippi. He attended the Barn Church in Poplarville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Rester of Poplarville and father, Robert F. Lee of Franklinton, Louisiana.
Slim is survived by his children, Delores (Jay) Schexnider of Mount Herman, LA, Robert (Cindy) Lee of Poplarville, MS, Terri (Charles) Toney of Poplarville, MS, Doug (Judy) Lee of Perkinston, MS, Alice (Dale) Garner of Petal, MS, Keith (Kelly) Lee of Poplarville, MS, Joe (Tammie) Lee of Lumberton, MS, Bobby (Sara) Milner of Pine Bluff, AR and Ann Summers of Poplarville, MS. He also had numerous siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend Slim's visitation on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from noon until 2:00 pm, at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, MS, with services beginning at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Jeff Easterling and Bro. Ken Rhodes officiating the service. Burial will follow at Lee's Cemetery No. 1 in Lumberton, MS.
