Shane Michael Mahon

Shane Michael Mahon, of Poplarville, Mississippi passed from this life into God’s presence on Monday, June 19, 2023 at the age of 50. He loved to ride his motorcycle, listen to Christian music, play with his dogs, fish and above all, he loved to make his family and friends laugh and make his love of the Lord known with all of his heart. Shane served in the Navy and was of the non-denominational faith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Mahon Sr. Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife, Dwana Mahon; children, Justice Mahon, Liberty Mahon, Jessica Spivey, Devon Dubois and Jacob Borry; mother, Jane Mahon; brother, Joseph “Joey” Mahon II; and his sisters, Liz Anne Woods, Patricia Wilson, Desiree Pearce, Nicole Mahon, and Janna Ladner. Shane also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Dwana at venmo@Shane-Mahon-28.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00 pm. at Faith Memorial Baptist Church, 476 MS-26, Poplarville, MS 39470
