Teresa Darlene Edwards

Darlene, as most everyone knew her was a lifelong resident of Pearl River County. Darlene was a loving and precious mother; doting grandmother and beloved Aunt, Cousin, Friend, and Memaw to many.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Dillard; mother, Ida May Dillard Wright; husband, Daniel Layne Edwards; and grandson, Artis "A.J." Garcia.

Family members include, three daughters, Allison Garcie (Joe), Emily Edwards (David), Sarah Edwards (Harold); seven grandchildren Justin Rodgers, Laynee Rodgers, Tristan Rodgers, Carlee Edwards, Jozee May Garcia, Zoee Layton, Hyatt Garcia; two brothers, Danny Dillard (Susan), Donnie Dillard (Elaine); two sister, Lisa Eby (Mitch), Tina McMurrin (Cam); mother-in-law, Sylvia Edwards; and precious niece, Toni Eby.

Funeral services will be held at Oak Hill Pentecostal Church (604 Oak Hill Road, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery (261 Liberty Road, Picayune, MS, 39466). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
