Terry Wayne Seals

Terry Wayne Seals, departed this life into God's presence on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 66. Terry dedicated 35.5 years to the United States Army National Guard, a career that was the cornerstone of his life. Even after retirement, he returned to service three times, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the military. His love for the military was matched only by his devotion to his family and his church.

Terry's passion was his church, Cornerstone Apostolic Church, where he not only worshipped but also took pride in pastoring. He was known for his love of old-time religious music and his enthusiasm for inviting others to join him at his church. Beyond his religious commitments, Terry enjoyed fishing and hunting, hobbies that brought him great joy.

In the community, Terry was recognized for his involvement in coaching his son's football team, leading them to eight consecutive victories. His leadership and dedication were evident both on and off the field.

Terry Wayne Seals will be remembered for his dedication to his country, his family, and his faith. His legacy of service and love will continue to inspire those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hiram "Pat" Seals; late wife, Veronica Seals; one son, Sammie Seals; one brother, Howard Ray Seals and two sisters, Brenda Seals and Mary Seals.

Left to forever cherish Terry's memory, wife, Kayla Seals; mom Ernestine Seals Pullen (Roger); 10 children, Jimmie (Casandra), Kolton, Karley, Kerriona, Earnestine, James, Connie (Troy), Sandra (Keith), CJ (Amanda) and Mary Gail; 13 grandchildren, Trey, Dominick, Gabby, Kamron, Wyatt, Noah, August, William, Veronica, Rebecca, Karley, Logan and Jacob; one brother, Michael Seals (Sherry); three sisters, Annette Hartfield (Ed), Laura Seals (Jules) and Belinda McLemore (Kedrick); numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Terry's visitation on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Cornerstone Apostolic Church, 8928 MS 43 N, Poplarville, Mississippi. Terry's funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Victory Temple Church Of God Cemetery, 361 Restertown Rd, Poplarville, Mississippi.
