Virginia Lee Smith

Ms. Smith was born February 11, 1941 in Poplarville, Mississippi to Alfred L. Smith and Maudie Pritchett Smith. She was a homemaker. Above all, she enjoyed her fur babies and grandchildren.

Her parents precede her in death.

Family members include her companion, Ray Lee; two sons, Stacey Smith (Tammy), Dale Smith (Rachel); two daughters, Darlene King, Rhonda Byrd (Anthony); two brothers, Lewis Smith (Frances), Alfred Smith, Jr.; thirteen grandchildren, Brandon Morris (Shalyn), Clint Morris, Jenny Shipley (Stephen), Trisha Hamilton (Tre), Summer Smith, Karly Smith, Tara McVey (Tim), Morgan Byrd, Katie Byrd, Ashley Brooke Smith, Michael Odom, Wesley Odom, Chezly Odom-Fulks; fifteen great grandchildren; and her fur baby, Sasha.

Funeral services will be at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 S, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Minister Charlotte Brewer will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Wade Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
