Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi, 39470 on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Juniper Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 1:00 pm until time of services, Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ms. Slade was born December 16, 1925 to Harry Barnett and Lucy Walley Barnett. She was retired from Movie Star, Incorporated. She was a member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by eight sisters, three brothers, and one grandson, Patrick Anderson.
Family members include six children, Eugene Slade, Leroy Slade, Danny Joe Slade, Gloria Anderson, Joann Bennett, Beth Scruggs; sixteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
