Brian Douglas Krog

Survived by his loving partner, Donna, parents; Marie and Charles Krog; daughter, Jessica(Matt), step-son, Derek: grandson, Dylan Frakes; brothers, Art (Pauline) and Gordon (Laurie-Ann), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.

Graduating in 1980, he lived all of his life in the Alberni Valley. Brian had a real passion for life and did everything to the fullest. He loved being in the outdoors, including swimming and tubing down the river every summer, dirt bike riding up in the mountains, caving and skateboarding which he took up again in 2005. He could do a handstand on his skateboard for more than a block. He was a kid at heart. Brian was a computer whiz and avid computer gamer. He was also very knowledgeable about the world he lived in. He began as a roofer when he was 18, then worked for Coulson’s Millworks as a timber grader before returning to roofing with Marvin Dievert of Dievert's Roofing.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00pm – 4:00pm August 9, 2014 at Roger Creek Park.
