He is survived by his 7 children: Richard, Betty, Chuck, Carol, Bruce, Ralph, and Alexis; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Susan Sport and Agnes Lucas; as well as many more family members.
Charlie was a longtime logger, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He had many passions in life; including being an avid basketball fan, master carver, and cultural leader lead singer.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005 6th Avenue, Port Alberni, BC.
