Dell had worked with Woodwards for 28 years before its shutdown. Dell then worked at his dream job as a realtor and dedicated over 28 years of his life, in which both Dell and Vi worked together as partners and dedicated team to their clients. He made lifelong friendships with his clients, marked by a genuine commitment to helping others, a testament to his selfless character.
A devoted family man, Dell was a familiar presence at his grandchildren's hockey games, always tooting the air horn and cheering for all the children playing, regardless of the team. He never missed a game, consistently supporting his family with unwavering enthusiasm.
Dell had a deep love for boating, a lifelong passion he pursued. His affinity for water and nature was evident, as was his love for dogs and travelling. Dell cherished his trips to Maui, a place he visited with Vi for over 20 years.
An honourable and quiet man, Dell was selfless and never sought recognition for his deeds. His legacy is one of kindness and humility, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Williams and the staff at West Coast General Hospital for the care provided to Dell.
A donation in Dell's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Society, SPCA, or First Open Heart Society.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date.
