Mr. Eric Connor Turner-Clancy

Predeceased by grandparents, Josephine and Hugh Clancy and Tom Turner; Eric is survived by his grandmother, Martha Turner; mother, Sylvia Turner; father, Jerry Clancy; brothers, Simon Shepherd, Marty Shepherd and sister Lucy Shepherd as well as aunts and uncles: Mike (Jennifer), John(Chris), Steve (Laura), Linda (Art) and Jimmy, cousins; Connor, Jim, Miranda (Nathan), Michael, Amanda (Ritchie), and Brandy. Eric is also survived by his beloved 4 legged friends; Kit, Kia, Herman and Jo-annie.

Born and raised in the Alberni Valley, Eric attended E.J. Dunn Middle School. Passionate by nature, Eric was an independent young man who was brave, strong and intelligent with a good sense of humour. He loved animals, music and athletics and was always striving to improve himself.

A Service in Eric’s memory will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 169, 4680 Victoria Quay, Port Alberni . Following the service, a Walk will take place on the Kitsuksis Walkway. Pets welcome to the walk. Condolences may be forwarded to the family at www.chapelofmemories.ca.
