Erik David Cutting

Predeceased by grandparents; Jack and Yvette, and grandfather David; and his Uncle Wayne.

Erik is survived by his loving parents Gordon and Teresa; sister Karen (Jon) and brother Grant (Dillon); nieces Hailey, Evelynn and Lydia; his Gramma Ann as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Erik was born and raised in the Alberni Valley and like so many others he loved spending time exploring and being in the bush whether it be fishing, hunting, boating, camping or quading in and around the valley. Although Erik was a happy and social person with a wonderful sense of humour, he was also very private. After graduating ADSS, Erik spent some time up north learning the welding trade. He became a Red Seal Welder and was working as a Welder for APD.

A Celebration of Erik’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Best Western Barclay Hotel, 4277 Stamp Avenue, Port Alberni, BC. Stories and condolences may be offered to the family at www.chapelofmemories.ca
