Gladys Joan Cline Priest

Gladys is predeceased by her husband Percy, 2 brothers; Wes and George and 3 sisters: Anne Bouey, Margaret Robertson and Carol Bilowes. She is survived by her children: Donna Baxter (John), Jean Priest (Peter Wilson), Bill (Kim), Steven and Susan Davis (Tim); 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 5 sisters: Myrtle Carter, Kay McClean (Harvey), Grace Anderson, Clara Clark (Jim) and Joyce Walker; one brother John; 2 brothers-in-law: Gordon Priest (Betty) and Glenn Priest (Marian); sister-in-law Maureen Priest as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Gladys was a longtime member of the United Church in Port Alberni and was also active with the Sunshine Club. Always willing to help others out she enjoyed playing piano for the Salvation Army Services at Fir Park and Echo Village.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, November 19, 2011 both from the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005-6th Avenue. Interment to follow in the Alberni Valley Memorial Gardens.
