John was one of 10 children born to Barney & Edna Newfield. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Johanna (Anne) and sons Kenneth and Richard.
Survived, and greatly missed by his children Katherine Roberts (Jim), Wayne Newfield (Roseann), Sandra Dixon (Lorne) and Barbara Giesbrecht (Bruce) as well as his grandchildren Michelle, Jennifer, Brian, Johnny, Brandy, Lindsay, Christopher, Kyle, Steven, Kimberly, Tammy and Nicole as well as 28 great grandchildren.
