Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Kathy Jones while surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on May 11, 2014. Kathy is survived by her loving husband Rob, children: Lauraly (Eric Gross), Warren (Karen Burton Jones) and Teresa (Mitch Weimer) and six grandchildren that she so adored Celine, Lindsay, Cassie, Tessa, Pierce and Julia as well as step brothers George and Morris Baird and many other relatives including her cousin Robbie Halliday.
Our wife, mom and grandmother taught us how to live and love. We were blessed by her support and encouragement. Her love will live on through the lives of her family and friends. She will be sorely missed, but we take great comfort in knowing she is now singing and dancing in heaven.
A service to remember and honour Kathy will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at First Baptist Church, 6211 Cherry Creek Road, Port Alberni, BC.
