It is with great sadness that the family of Kristian McPherson (Kris) wish you to know he has now joined his parents Ted and Emma and brother Billie. Leaving his loving family, wife of 43 years Daphne; his loving daughters: Krista (Sean), Taylor; loving son Mike; grandsons Zackery and Ryan Jakubowsky; sister Burla Fielding; sister-in-law Zoe-Anne (Dave) Clemson; nieces Brandi, Toue, Sheridan, Moyra and Melodie and gread niece Leiv.
Born in Port Alberni and raised in Sarita River until age 10. He worked at APD for 40 years. He was a very hard working man , a dedicated father, husband and friend. The gift for his family was his amazing strength and humour that showed through even in the hardest fight of his life. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the Steelworkers Hall 4904 Montrose Street.
