Larry joined the army as a young man and met Iris in Brandon, Manitoba. They lived together in Brandon and Calgary before moving to Vancouver Island in 1968. The greatest source of pride and joy in Larry's life was his family and time spent with them, especially the annual summer vacation at Quadra Island. He was a devoted husband and the best Dad and Grandpa.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Lucien Forcier and his son, Larry Edward Forcier. He is survived by his loving wife Iris, daughters, Linda (Dave) and Michele (Kevin), son Edward (Colleen), daughter-in-law Mary Beth Forcier and his grandchildren Robert (Alicia), David (Jill), Richard (Alison), Stefanie (Brandon), Mallory (Kyle), Trenton (Jessica), Tye (Melissa), Celine (Matthew) and Kurtis (Sidney), and 15 great-grandchildren.
