Predeceased by her husband Jack
Survived by children Rick, Jody and Tracy (Karry); grand children Korey (Megan) and Kayla (Tylor); great grandchildren Kinsleigh and Kennedy; sister Judy as well numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Born in the interior, Laurie came with her family to Port Alberni at a young age. She grew up in the valley and worked various jobs including the plywood plant until 1962 when she and Jack started a family. Laurie was a hard worker. She and Jack made many a trip to Reno and after Jack passed, Laurie enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the Rim Rock Casino.
Burial has taken place.
