It is with sadness we announce the passing of our Mom and Grandmother, Margaret Jean Valenzuela. Mom was born in Port Alberni, BC, on February 21, 1939. She met her husband Mauro Valenzuela working in the farmers’ fields, and had two beautiful children with him: Jenny Lee and Richard. They travelled and lived across the USA, landing in Granger Washington where their children spent the majority of their childhood. Margaret and her children also lived in Victoria BC for many years. She lived a life of creativity, winning awards for her work in film and meeting stars such as Robin Williams along the way. Margaret passed on July 1, 2025 leaving behind her beloved son Richard (Tracy), 4 beautiful grandchildren: Shalaya, Medina, Damon (Zoe) and Melita; and 4 precious great-grandchildren: Amira, Theodor, Brayden and Keagan. She will also be missed by her remaining family and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved daughter Lee in 2013. Rest Easy Mom.
