Murray Albert Snell

Predeceased by his wife Norma, son Frank, granddaughter Carmen, sisters Mabel Cook and Myrtle James and brother Reuben Snell. Murray is survived by his son Ron (Patty), daughter Shirley McKamey of Mexico, grandchildren: Shelley Henson (Trevor), Doug. Jammie and Stephen Snell, great grandchildren: Mya, Logan and Shae as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Murray was a quiet hard working man and will be deeply missed. He arrived in Port Alberni in the late 1940’s and worked a number of jobs before gaining employment at APD Mill where he remained until his retirement. It was here in Port Alberni that he met and married Norma and raised their family. He was also a long time and committed member of First Baptist Church.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005-6th Avenue with Rev. Bill Cottrill officiating. Cremation has taken place.
