Paul is predeceased by wife Alice, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by children; Paul Sr. (Gerry), Bob, Rae and Brent (Donna); grandchildren, David (Denise), Darryl (Jocelyn), Paul Jr., Dean (Sara) and Kyle (Roxanne); great grandchildren, Hanna, Paige, Ayla, Jesse, Jordan, Neiva and Hayley; extended family Doris and Keely; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandpa Paul spent 48 years in Ocean Falls working in a logging camp and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He started as a logger, then became a boomsman until his retirement in the late 70’s. From Ocean Falls, he and Alice moved to Lake Cowichan to enjoy his retirement and to travel extensively in their motorhome before finally coming to live in Port Alberni in the early part of 2000.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place and Paul will be laid to rest in Alberni Valley Memorial Park next to his wife Alice, who was the love of his life.
