Rachel was predeceased by her beloved husband George in 1998 and her dog Ginger, she is survived by a few close and dear friends.
Rachel was a gentle, kind and caring person with a very special place in her heart for animals. She loved to dote on her dog, watch the horses or go to the SPCA just to visit with the animals. She loved music and one of her favourite pass times was going dancing with George. She also loved to garden. Rachel was a dear and special friend to those who knew her.
As per her request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. If desired donations in Rachel’s memory may be made to the local SPCA, 4936 Broughton St., Port Alberni, BC V9Y 8R6.
