Predeceased by her first husband Jack Haayer and, son-in-law Loren Moyen.
Survived by loving husband Art; daughter, Yolanda; son, Terry (Anne); grandchildren, Matthew Moyen and Dylan Haayer; sisters, Froukje, Boukje (Gerry), Jannie (Kurt), Martha (Aliceson) and brother Stuart (Rika); many nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
Donna moved from Holland to Nova Scotia, then moved to the Alberni Valley in the early 70’s. She loved to cook and bake and to spend time camping at Spider Lake during the summers. In the early 80’s, she spent many hours being the secretary for the First Open Heart Society of Port Alberni.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm – 3:00pm, on Saturday, July 30th, 2011 at Royal Canadian Legion Br #293, 4680 Victoria Quay. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.chapelofmemories.ca
