He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his dry unexpected sense of humor, his genius for remembering every birthday, anniversary and special occasion of our whole family tree, for never turning down a game of crib and his long purposeful stride as he went about his business in Port Alberni.
A passionate collector of coins, books, music and movies, his favorite subjects were Clint Eastwood, (Go ahead, make my day); the Montreal Canadians (the only hockey team); the Yankees (the only baseball team); Johnny Cash, the Beatles and his family, especially his parents. After retirement from the Somas Mill at fifty-five, Stan enjoyed traveling to Europe, parts of Canada and the USA and seeing both his teams play.
Predeceased by his father, Mark Ivezich, he leaves to mourn his passing his mother Maxine Ivezich, his siblings Ann Marie (John) Thompson, Nancy (Jerry) Barrett, Robert (Kim) Ivezich, many nieces and nephews and an extensive extended family.
