Verna Elizabeth Kuemper

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Gerhart and his wife Rosanna, Michele and her husband, Jeffrey, Ellen and her husband, Peter, Shawn, and Tammy and her husband, Shawn; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick), Sarah, Brandon (Janelle), Karli (Dixon), Alysha (Rob), and Brooke (Curtis); great grandchildren, Ilsabeth, Sebastian, Lucas and Douglas; brother, Larry (Sharon) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and special friends that called her Mom. Verna was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 2011; a daughter at birth in 1964; a granddaughter, Rachael in 2019; granddaughter, Courtney in 2022; and 10 siblings, Anne, Mary, Lena, Frank, Olga, Sally, Peter, Ernest, Diane and Lorna.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at West Coast General Hospital as well as her support workers for the compassionate personal care they provided to our mom.

Mom your presence will be missed in our lives. Your memories will be treasured. We love you forever.

In keeping with mom's wishes there will be no formal funeral or memorial service. The family will host a Celebration of Life at Verna's home on Saturday, May 9th at 1:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair, a smile, and a memory to share.
