

She was born on April 29, 1919 in New York City, to Antonio Donato and Rosa DeLeo Donato. Anna came to Port Charlotte, Florida from Flushing-Queens, New York in 1994.
Anna was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a dress maker for McCall Pattern Company, retiring after 40 years of service to the dress making industry. Anna loved music, loved playing the piano and singing, and making people happy. Anna loved reading and quoting Shakespeare.
Survivors include her 3 daughters, Thomasina (Frank) Post of New York City, Diane (Frank) Marino of Nashville, Tennessee and Ann Marie (Ron) Larrivee of Port Charlotte, Florida; her brother, Frank (Elizabeth) Donato of Washington State and her sister, Catherine Wetherbee of San Diego, California; 4 grandchildren, Lisa (Brett) Solomon, Joseph Solomon, James Navan and Lauren Navan; 2 great grandchildren, Alex Solomon and Ryan Solomon. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo and her 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Services and burial will be at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery in Flushing, New York on Tuesday, May 24, 2011.
