

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Anne G. Fisher, who departed this life on October 18, 2025, at Lexington Manor in Port Charlotte, Florida with her daughters in attendance. Born in Port Huron, Michigan, to Edward and Mary Ott on September 24, 1926. Anne touched the lives of many with kindness, generosity, and unwavering strength.
Anne is remembered as a devoted spouse, loving parent, sibling and friend, cherished by family and friends alike. She consistently showed commitment to her family, leaving a legacy of compassion and integrity. Anne graduated from Mercy College in Detroit as a Registered Nurse. She worked for over twenty years in Port Huron, Michigan.
Anne is survived by daughters Diane Jacoby, Cheryl (Jim) O'Donnell, Sue (Tom) Alexander and Nancy (Dale) Hrisca. She has ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Don, married 71 years; her son, Kevin; grandson Brian and son-in-law Mike Jacoby. Her siblings Edward Ott, Mary Lou Wessel and Dorothy Cain preceded her in death. She will forever be remembered for her warm smile, heartfelt laughter, and the many moments shared together.
Anne lived primarily in Marysville and Port Huron, Michigan. After retiring, Anne and Don wintered in Kingsgate, Nokomis, Florida. They made many friends and were active in their community. Anne loved to travel and play bridge. She played golf and stayed active until her final years.
A service to celebrate Anne's life will be held on November 21, 2025, at San Antonio Catholic Church, 2445 Rampart Blvd., Port Charlotte, Florida. The Mass of Celebration will be at 11:00 a.m. She will be buried with her husband at Sarasota National Cemetery immediately following. All who know and love her are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tidewell Hospice, 3550 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Fl. 34249 or St. Judes Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 honoring Anne's commitment to making the world a better place.
