Born on November 18, 1988 in Aracati, Brazil, Tony is the son of Linda and Richard Choma. The youngest of three, Tony was a gentle and kind young man who always thought of others first and ready to give you a smile or laugh when you needed it most.
Involved in St. Maximilian Kolbe and later San Antonio Church, through altar serving, youth group, choir and Teen Life, as well as participating at Freedom Bible Church, he always enjoyed and loved his extended church family. Tony not only volunteered at Sterling House in Punta Gorda cooking special treats for the residents, but also volunteered at Florida Youth Leadership helping other children with disabilities strengthen their leadership skills, confidence, and even better understand their rights as citizens.
Swimming with the Charlotte County Special Olympics team, he earned several medals: gold, silver and bronze and also swam with the Port Charlotte Pirate Swim Club team. His dedication and passion for sports and music made him the mayor in any town he visited. "GO GATORS!"
Tony is survived by his parents, Linda and Richard Choma, his beloved nephew Logan Cole Choma, his brother Nicholas, and sisters, Skye and Aly. Tony is also survived by his grandmothers, Alzira Costa and Eleanor Choma, as well as 8 aunts and uncles, 14 cousins and so many other loved family and friends and "Petey".
