Barbara Ann (Fergus) Hake, 76, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Jan. 21. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jack O. Hake; her daughter Kimberly; her son-in-law Brian; her grandchildren, Mikayla, Alec and Brennan; her sister Eleanor Ramson of Boardman, Ohio; her niece Sandra (Ramson) Milligan of Boardman, Ohio, and husband Jim; her grandniece Ashley; and her grandnephew Matthew.
Barbara was born in Youngstown, Ohio and grew up in Girard, Ohio. A graduate of Girard High School, she worked as a bookkeeper at Youngstown Steel and Door and Youngstown Ice and Fuel. Barbara and Jack moved to Port Charlotte in 1975.
Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was inseparable from her husband Jack and relished every milestone in her daughter's and grandchildren's lives and cherished every day she spent with them.
