Betty Z. Dietz

Betty Z. Dietz, 92, of North Port, FL passed away July 10, 2016. She was born March 31, 1924 in Buckeye, WV and moved to this area in 1988 from Pasadena, MD. She was married to her husband, Charles on July 9, 1944 and was a homemaker who devoted herself to caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking and loved hosting holiday gatherings. Her family always congregated at her home to enjoy spending time together and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Betty (John R. Sr) Louke and Charles “Buck” (Barbara) Dietz all of North Port, FL; grandchildren, John (Kelly) Louke, Jr of North Port, FL; Lynda (Bob) Bourque of Bradenton, FL; Mark (Lindsay Livingston) Louke of North Port, FL; Jeff (Cortney Kreller) Dietz of White Rock, NM; Mike Dietz of Sweetwater, TN and Ashley Dietz of North Port, FL; great grandchildren, Tiffanie, Jacob, Cole, Matt, Danielle, Rebekah, Jessica, Sarah, Landon, Emily, Alexis, Siara and Hailee; great great grandchildren, Taiton, Gracie, Colton and Aubree.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Charles Dietz who passed away December 5, 2012; her son, William L. Dietz and grandson Chad Dietz, both in 2005.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 pm Thursday July 21, 2016 at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood.
