Bobby Joe Halden

He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay; his daughter, Heidi (George) Moore of Corpus Christi, Texas, son, Jay (Jodi) Halden of Tampa, Florida and son, Kent Halden of Loveland, Colorado; his four grandchildren Jillian (Andrew) Plum, Schuyler (Elise) Moore, Connor Halden and Olivia Halden; his sisters Kay Ryan and Dee Dernovish.

Over the years Bob's career with Iowa Southern Utilities based in Centerville, Iowa took Bob and Linda and their family to Newton, Grinnell, and Ottumwa, Iowa. They retired to Rotonda West, Florida in 1999 welcoming family and friends to their new, warm home state. Here Bob enjoyed his lifelong passion for golf and through the years achieved four "holes in one". Bob was active in Rotary Club, Optomist Club, he coached his boys in Little League and, a natural athlete, he participated for many years himself on community softball and basketball teams.

A memorial service will be held at Englewood United Methodist Church on Friday, January 13, at 2:00pm.
