Brian was more than a cousin to me....we were inseparable for a good time in our teens. Best friends. We made each other laugh so hard we cried. As we got married and had children we didn’t hang out as much, but we could always talk and pick up like it was yesterday. I’m going to miss that, and him. A truly selfless human that figured things out long before most. I love you B.

We’re so incredibly sorry for your loss. Brian was such a warm, kind loving soul, with a great sense of humor. He definitely made the post office a much better place to work. Brian was loved by many and will live on in the hearts of many. Rest In Peace Brian

Brian was literally the best husband, dad, and grandpa! He loved my mom wholeheartedly and always aimed to please her. He did the big things and the little things. He was always there for us, no matter what we needed. He did much more than was ever expected of him by anyone every single time. I am so blessed to call him Dad. Grandpa and Grandma's house has always been my kids' favorite place to be and they ask to go every single day. We used to live close enough to drop by multiple times a day; now we always have a future visit planned. It was never goodbye, but see you later. There are too many memories to share here, so I'll just pick one...
My mom had two children when Brian came into our lives. He loved my mom so much and completed her. He loved David and I as if we were his own children. We were never Cheryl's kids. We were his kids. He was so good to us. My mom worked in the early morning for many years, so Dad got us off to school. Every morning he made us breakfast of waffles with butter, peanut butter, and syrup. He let us eat our breakfast before school while watching cartoons. I will never forget how much he gave of himself to give us the best life he could. He took us to Disney World on our first real family vacation. I still remember the jokes he told on that trip and the fun that we had.

...

Photographs and memories
All the love you gave to me
Somehow it just can't be true
That's all I've left of you
But we sure had a good time
