Christina Louise Raver, 66, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Port Charlotte. Christina was born in Peoria, IL, daughter of the late George L. and R. Marie Beaty. Christina was a retired School Teacher who worked for some 30 years in the Englewood Elementary School. She also was an avid quilter having made over 1000 quilts that were donated to cancer patients.
Christina is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard E. Raver of Englewood. Two sons; Rick Raver and wife Beth of New Orleans, LA and Scott Raver and wife Lisa of Punta Gorda. Three grandchildren, Sarah, Austin and William. Two brothers and one sister; Tom Beaty of St. Louis, MO, Alan Beaty and wife Geri of San Diego, CA and Vera Byrd or Peoria, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
