She was born on February 15, 1922 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania to
Frank Kowalski and Stefania Wojkasek. Clara came to this area from Stow,
Ohio in 1979. She was an avid golfer, loved to play softball and a member of
San Antonio Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances (James) Martin of Elk Grove Village,
Illinois; her 3 grandchildren, James (Dawn) Martin, Julie (Chad) Dirks and
Jason Martin; her 5 great grandchildren, Calvin Martin, Elliott Martin, Vivian
Martin and Landen Dirks and Mason Dirks. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Manuel Martinez, her 3 brothers, Frank, Chester and Emil Kowalski
and her cousin, Veronica Bochter.
Visitation Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Kay-
Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida
Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 noon at San Antonio Catholic Church 24445
Rampart Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florda
