Dorothy Eileen (Fish) Prefontaine born June 6, 1944 in Vineland, New Jersey passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on May 23, 2025.
Eileen was a Marine, a wife, a mother, grandmother, sister and an aunt. She had a career in real estate and the mortgage industry. Later on, she opened her own travel agency. Besides the love of her family, she loved animals, traveling, and dancing. She enjoyed passing the time by painting, doing ceramics, and cooking.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Harold Charles Prefontaine, and her three children, Patricia Brown, Terri Burns, and Chuck Prefontaine as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded by Edwin Fish (Father) Dorothy Lieberman (Mother) Linda Lorenzini (Sister).
Services will be held on June 2, 2025 11 AM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home at 2405 Harbor Blvd Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
