David E. Qualls

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017, at his home in Punta Gorda from 12-2pm.

David was born on June 11, 1958 to the late David Qualls and Rosemary (Mitchell). He graduated from Charlotte High School in 1976. David married his beloved wife of 35 years, Sharon (Hudson) on October 17, 1981 in Taunton, MA. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and he worked in the Stucco industry in Charlotte County for close to 30 years.

David was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Nichole, and sister Dawn Williams (Qualls).

David is survived by his loving wife Sharon, daughters Katie Scott (Qualls) and Samantha Qualls, son Brian Qualls, brother Larry Qualls, 4 grandchildren he loved dearly (Kiara, Kyla, Gaige, and Joshua), several brother and sister in-laws, and countless aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

David was an avid fan of all sports, especially football. He enjoyed attending every Charlotte Tarpon Football game, and cheered on the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Hurricanes, Alabama Crimson Tide, Boise State Broncos, and San Francisco Giants. David enjoyed playing pool, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, yard sales, bike-riding, playing board games, watching Perry Mason, and spending time with friends and family. David also liked to kayak and watch the sunset at Ponce De Leon Park in Punta Gorda.
