She was born on December 30, 1954 in Tampa, Florida. She was a lifelong resident of Florida. Dawn was a homemaker, a member of Women of the Moose Chapter # 777 of Punta Gorda, Florida; Florida Fraternal Order of Police and the Humane Society of the United States.
Survivors include her father, David E. Qualls SR., of Tropical Gulf Acres, Florida; her 2 brothers, David E Qualls JR., of Punta Gorda, Florida and Larry Dale Qualls of Tropical Gulf Acres; her cousin, Karen Lassey of Punta Gorda, Florida; her 2 nieces, Katy Lynn Scott of Port Charlotte, Florida and Sabrina Qualls of Punta Gorda, Florida, also many other cousins, Nephews and nieces surviving.
Visitation Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 635 E. Marion Avenue. Punta Gorda, Florida. Burial will follow at Indian Springs Cemetery.Arrangements by Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel.
