Donald H McQueen, age 81 passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Born in Bridgeport CT in June 1943 to parents of Hamilton and Dorothy Medley McQueen.
Loving husband to Marilyn Loeffler McQueen for 58 years. He grew up and resided in Milford, CT before relocating to Port Charlotte after retirement. He was a member of Ansantawae Lodge #89 Milford, CT along with other Masonic groups, Milford Elks Lodge #1589. Upon moving to Florida, he became a member of Punta Gorda Masonic Lodge and Punta Gorda Elks.
He is survived by daughters, Melissa Cole (Ron) of Bradenton, FL, and Melinda McQueen-Veilleux (Darel) of Milford, CT, as well as grandsons Jonathan Cole (Amanda) of West Haven, CT, and Nicholas Cole (Courtni) of Bradenton FL, and a great granddaughter Adysen Cole of Bradenton, FL. Two sisters, Cynthia McQueen of FL and Rochelle Pawell of NC and niece Lania McQueen of NC.
There are no services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family ask you donate to Shriners Hospital for Children.
