Donna J. Harrison was born in Mansfield, Ohio to Carl & Katherine Beech. She grew up in Ohio and moved to Sarasota in 1969. She later moved to Missouri to be near her daughter. She was active in the Florida Council of the Blind for over 25 years, serving as President and longtime Sun Shine Lady. She enjoyed crafts. In Missouri she was recently honored for her donations of Afghans for Veterans at Mt. Vernon VA Hospital. Donna is survived by her daughter, Diana and her son Mike Harrison, her grandson, Scott Hodges and her great grandson, Kyle Hodges of Missouri; her brother, Robert Beech and wife, Jan of Venice, FL.
