Eloise K. (Stratton) Mehlmann Morch, born in Kent, Ohio on April 20, 1920 to Emmett and Minna (Behr) Stratton, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020 -- just two days after her 100th birthday. She made Port Charlotte, Florida her home for the past 33 years. Eloise was a faithful member of Lutheran Church of the Cross, Port Charlotte, having served on several boards and committees over the years, and a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). She dearly loved her family and friends, especially her special cherished friends Joyce and Fred Spier. Eloise enjoyed flowers, going to the beach, and especially cooking and sewing for her family. Eloise is survived by her son John (Jeanne) Mehlmann, grandchildren Lisa Mehlmann (Mark Pixley), Chris Mehlmann, Ken (Mae) Mehlmann, and Lauren (Jake) Scharlotte, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John C. Mehlmann, and second husband John B. Morch. Private services will be taking place. Interment is at Restlawn Memorial Park.
