Eugene Teeters

Eugene Teeters 89 of Punta Gorda Florida went to be with the Lord January 31, 2024 In Ormond Beach Florida. He was a Paper Cutter in Cincinnati Ohio for many years and worked for Walmart for 21 years in Florida.

Eugene was well know by the neighborhood kids as Mr Green Jeans because he work diligently in his garden in a pair of Green Jeans Eugene was a Wonderful Christian man loved by all who knew him He was known to help anyone in need. Had read the Bible cover to cover many times and knew it forward and backwards. He adored his Grand Dog Shadow as they spent many hours in the Garage side by side after his wife passed. He loved his wife more than anything in the world and was a dedicated Father to his Children Eugene was a huge help in raising some of the Grandkids and they looked up to him.

Mr. Teeters was born on January 24 1935 in Hamersville, Ohio the son of the late Jess and Iola (Walker) Teeters. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Shirley Kathleen Combs Teeters in May of 2023.

Mr Teeters was also preceded in death by six brothers, Jesse Earl, Edgar ,Vernon Lowell Thomas, Roger, and James Teeters and two sisters, Florence Baker and Lillian Williams. Mr. Teeters is survived by One sister Iola Wolford and two brothers Charles and John Teeters.

Mr. Teeters is survived by two sons, Brian of Punta Gorda , Douglas of Manchester Ohio and two Daughters Kimberly Young of Latonia Kentucky and Sandra Dixon of Milan In. Survived by 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren

A visitation for Eugene will be held Monday, February 12, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 2405 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. A funeral service will occur Monday February 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM 2405 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. A graveside Military service will occur Monday February 12, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, At Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
