

Everett Brian Wilson, a cherished husband, father, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, at his home in Port Charlotte, Florida. Born on November 24, 1939, in Windsor, Canada, Everett's life was marked by his infectious humor and love for family and friends.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret (Donovan) Wilson and Frederick Wilson, and his siblings, Gerry (May), Frederick "Buzz" (Helen), Carol (Ed), and Linfield "Lin".
He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Gail Wilson, and his loving son, Everett Cecil Jr. Son-in-law, Cecil Grieves (Mildred). His absence will be profoundly felt by his nephews, nieces, and their children, who were privileged to experience his unique humor and storytelling.
Everett was a proud alumnus of Patterson Collegiate in Windsor, Canada, where he formed many lifelong friendships. After completing his education, he embarked on a career that was as diverse as his interests.
A man of many hobbies, Everett was an avid participant in lawn bowling, Texas Hold 'Em, poker, rummy, and golf. He could often be found at the table, engaged in spirited games with friends and family. His love for playing table games was only surpassed by his talent for telling jokes and stories that could light up any room.
Everett's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless happy memories he created with those around him. His ability to find humor in the everyday and his knack for storytelling will be cherished and passed down through generations.
A Celebrate of Life will be held at later date in Windsor, Ontario and Port Charlotte, Florida.
