

Francisca Cintron Otero Rodriguez, a beacon of unwavering faith and boundless love, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, at the age of 90, in Port Charlotte, Florida. Born on October 20, 1933, in Comerío, Puerto Rico, Francisca's vivacious spirit and tender heart touched all who knew her.
Francisca was a dedicated seamstress who spent many years contributing her skills to the garment industry. Her exceptional talent graced the clothing racks of prominent stores such as Sears, Bloomingdales, and Macy's, earning her recognition among colleagues and the Lady Garments Workers of New York. Despite the demands of her profession, she always prioritized her family and faith.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Publio Roque Rodriguez and her treasured grandson Adrian Angel Varela, Francisca's legacy continues through her cherished family.
She leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories with her daughters, Jannette Rodriguez and Mercedes Haywood, as well as her adoring grandsons, Aladdin Lopez, Isaiah S Varela, Michael Angel Gaud, and Marcos D. Gaud, all of whom she loved immeasurably.
Francisca was a guiding light for her two great-grandchildren, Lillith Adelee Varela and Adrien Jose Angel Jr. Varela, and she took great joy in witnessing their bright beginnings. Her sisters, Elena Cintron and Bernalda Cintron, will remember her as the fulcrum of strength and love within the Cintron family, which also said goodbye to Francisca's siblings Perfecta, Celia, Jesus, Virgilo, Serafin, and Victor Cintron.
A devoted Christian, Francisca's life was a testament to her unwavering faith. She found beauty and solace in God's creations, particularly butterflies, cats, and birds, which sparked endless joy throughout her journey. Her life, exemplified by her faith-filled essence, will forever illuminate the paths of those who follow in her footsteps.
Francisca Cintron Otero Rodriguez will be deeply missed, yet her spirit and the lessons of her life will continue to inspire for generations to come. Her final resting place will be Calverton National Cemetery.
