George A. Bartley 83, of Port Charlotte died Saturday, December 26, 2009. He was born in Jamaica, West Indies on March 3, 1926 to George and Ledorah Bartley. He moved to the Charlotte County area in 1971 from Brooklyn, NY after retiring from the construction industry as a brick mason. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his Wife Dolis Watson Bartley, 8 children, 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 brother.
Visitation will be at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL, on Saturday, January 2, 2009 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Services will follow at 4:00 PM.
