George A. Klass, age 78, went home to be with Jesus on March 22, 2017. He was at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 15, 1939 in Sewickley, PA to George and Catherine Klass. George retired after 32 years at GM/Packard Electric in Warren, OH where he made many lifelong friends who will miss him dearly. He and his wife, Jane, retired and moved to North Port, FL in 1996.
Left to mourn his loss are his wife, his son, George (Alena) Klass of Salem, Ohio, daughters Vicky Cramer of North Port, Florida, and Malinda Parrish of Gay, W.V. His life was full and rich with 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren to cherish his memory. George was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ann Dohn of North Port, brother Joe, son-in-law Randy Cramer and son-in-law Steve Parrish.
A memorial service will be held at Gulf Pines Memorial Park Chapel, 2401 Englewood Road, Englewood, FL on Friday, April 7th at 2 o'clock p.m. Condolence can be made to the family at Kays-Ponger.com.
