J.A. Jackson, 67, of Punta Gorda, FL died February 2, 2008. He was born December 7, 1940 in Perry, FL and moved to this area in 1954 from there. J.A retired in 2006 as a Cement Mixer Driver for Cemex.
He is survived by his daughters, Anita David Bass and Linda Dille, both of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren, Mandy, Nickie, Joshua, David, Jordan and Christopher; great granddaughter, Kyla and sisters, Doris Morgan of Aberville, AL; Janie Pryor of Trenton, GA; Gwen Pritchard of Ft Myers, FL; Maedena Collins of Punta Gorda, FL and Joyce Clemens of Punta Gorda, FL. He was pre deceased by his wife, Juanita Jackson on January 2, 2006.
A Visitation will be from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm, Tuesday February 5, 2008 at the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Indian Springs Cemetery.
